Tsavo National Park is located in the southeastern part of Kenya, near the coast. It is the largest national park in Kenya and one of the largest in the world, covering an area of about 22,000 square kilometers. The park is divided into two sections, Tsavo East and Tsavo West, by the A109 highway and a railway line

Tsavo East National Park is characterized by vast plains, acacia woodlands, and the Galana River. It is home to large herds of elephants, known for their red dust-covered skin, as well as other wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and buffalos.
Tsavo West National Park is more mountainous and diverse, with volcanic hills, rocky outcrops, and the Mzima Springs. It is known for its birdlife, as well as animals like black rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, and leopards.
